Day 1: Cusco - Piskacucho - Wayllabamba

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and drive to Piskacucho, the starting point of the trek. From here, we will hike along the Urubamba River and through the stunning Andean landscape to our campsite at Wayllabamba.

Day 2: Wayllabamba - Warmiwañusca - Pacaymayo

Today is the most challenging day of the trek as we climb up to the highest point of the trail, Warmiwañusca Pass (4,215m). We'll take breaks along the way to enjoy the incredible views and catch our breath. After reaching the summit, we'll descend to our campsite at Pacaymayo.

Day 3: Pacaymayo - Wiñaywayna

Today's hike takes us through lush cloud forests and past ancient Incan ruins, including Runkurakay and Sayacmarka. We'll also visit the beautiful ruins of Wiñaywayna before arriving at our final campsite.

Day 4: Wiñaywayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco

We'll wake up early to hike to Inti Punku, also known as the Sun Gate, where we'll get our first glimpse of Machu Picchu. From here, we'll descend to the famous ruins and enjoy a guided tour of this incredible site. In the afternoon, we'll take a train back to Cusco.

This itinerary offers a challenging but rewarding trek through stunning Andean landscapes and ancient Incan ruins. With experienced guides and all necessary equipment provided, you can relax and enjoy the journey while learning about the history and culture of Peru.
